A Postdoctoral Scholar Courses (Postdoc – BUS) is an individual holding a doctoral degree who is engaged in a temporary period of mentored research and/or scholarly training and classes for the purpose of acquiring the professional skills needed to pursue a career path of his or her choosing.

The Postdoctoral Scholar Courses (Postdoc – BUS) at the Royal Victoria University is non-degree and is designed for leaders pursuing advanced studies beyond the doctoral level in preparation for an independent career and to prepare participants for practical and academic, teaching and research careers in business as well.

This Postdoctoral Scholar Courses (Postdoc – BUS) focuses on the issues faced by businesses – small or large, public or private in developing and developed countries. The research often draws from theories and concepts from different areas, making it relevant for both academicians and practitioners in various business disciplines.

The Postdoctoral Scholar Courses (Postdoc – BUS) program provides a solid foundation in the core business disciplines that are most crucial for each participant’s chosen area of specialization, as well as an understanding of the pedagogical and teaching methods commonly used in business schools. The Postdoc – BUS program curriculum enables participants to maximize the connections between their Ph.D. or other doctorate degree training and business topics to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue an academic and professional career internationally.

  1. Complete the Application for Admission and submit it with a non-refundable $95 Application Fee
  2. Minimum 5 years professional management experiences
  3. Provide copy of your most updated professional resume or curriculum vitae
  4. Provide a copy of your last academic degree and official transcript.
  5. Provide one current color passport size photos.

PBUS 1010: Executive Leadership (90 hours):

RVU Executive Leadership courses provide students with actionable tools, from leading through organizational change to negotiation strategies and providing students with the insights into what makes a leader exceptional. Students will explore complex issues such as self-awareness and learn skills to build a coalition of the willing, attract talent, and lead others to greatness. Students will return to their organization with the knowledge and skills to mobilize their team around a shared vision.

PBUS 1020: Executive Entrepreneurship (90 hours):

These intensive workshops integrate scientific research, industry relevance and social benefit. Participants explore technology commercialization, intellectual property and new business development and build a network to move their idea forward. This executive level course also introduces participants to entrepreneurial global entrepreneurial network. It covers the entire venture creation process, from generating ideas to building viable global businesses, with a special emphasis on the nurturing roles of corporations, universities, governments, and foundations.

PBUS 1030: Executive Blockchain & Cryptocurrency (90 hours):

The Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Programs is designed for those that wish to become competent Blockchain & Cryptocurrency broad range of Professional Certifications and who wish to embark on academic programs. The students may start a career as a Blockchain & Cryptocurrency business analyst, financial analyst, developer, banker or/and educational institution.
